Coach Wentz is eager to make a significant impact!

Kaylee is also a third grade teacher, and has a strong passion for supporting kids in their learning. She also loves playing sand volleyball, spending weekends by the river, and enjoying time with family and friends.

  • KRIS ZORTMAN

Coach Zortman serves as our Impact Volleyball Assistant Director. She brings in many years of volleyball coaching.  Kris started coaching right out of college and hasn't slowed down since. She has coached at a variety of levels including elementary, middle school, high school, college and club.  She was a coach for the Sioux Falls West Club volleyball program and saw the program through its entirety.  Coach Zortman loves providing both private and group lessons and can't wait to help make an impact on volleyball players as both individuals and athletes.

In her spare time, she enjoys golf, pickleball, concerts, reading and following her son Aiden's activities with her husband, Chad.

  • SHANNON NELSON

This will be my 3rd year coaching! I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade. I am a Roosevelt grad and then went on to play volleyball at Black Hill State. I played right side the majority of my volleyball career, since I am left handed. I graduated May of 2023 with my Bachelors in Exercise Science and I’m currently working as a Flexologist at StretchLab here in Sioux Falls and will hopefully be attending physical therapy school in the fall!

  • ERIN KNUDSEN

Volleyball Experience: I played competitively throughout middle and high school and then shifted to casual play in college. After graduating, I began reffing and coaching, a role I’ve maintained every year except for the year I had my daughter and her first year of life. I’ve coached various age groups, from middle school to junior varsity, in both school teams and clubs.

Personal: I’ve been teaching high school for nine years, currently at Harrisburg School District. I rely on a good amount of caffeine to keep me energized. I have a three-year-old daughter and a husband, both of whom share my passion for sports—especially volleyball!

  • MAKENNA EWOLDT

I started playing volleyball when I was in the 2nd grade and played until the end of my senior year. I started coaching club a year ago and have loved the highs and lows it brings. I am a recent college graduate and proud dog mom to my sweet golden retriever Banks! In my free time, I love to go on walks with Banks, read books, and spend time with friends and family.

  • CHLOE SCHWEITZER

I have always had a passion for volleyball! I started playing in 2nd grade up and played until the end of my junior year of high school. For the majority of my volleyball career, I played exclusively as a setter until I played a club season as a D.S. and I absolutely loved it! My love for volleyball continues as I play sand volleyball in the summer, cheer on the Wisconsin Badgers and now being a coach. In my free time, I love reading, pet-sitting, and spending time with my family, friends and boyfriend!

  • CHLOE GRABOW

Volleyball Experience: Volleyball has always been a huge part of my life. I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade, and I am currently a player for Jefferson High School. I have helped out with the kids camps we have hosted at Jefferson, and I have reffed a lot of volleyball for elementary school girls. I love that I am fortunate enough to be able to coach other people and help them grow their love for volleyball.

Personal: As previously stated, I am a Senior at JHS, and I plan to attend SDSU for pre-pharmacy after I graduate. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, spending time with my mini golden doodle, and hanging out with friends/family.

  • AMY OLSON

I coached freshman volleyball and club for years before taking a break to focus on raising my two daughters. I started coaching again last year for Sioux Falls West Club volleyball. I love that there are so many aspects of the sport, and one truly doesn't know what they can do until they just go for it. I am excited to help the players advance their skills and grow. Likewise, I am excited to grow as a coach and make an impact on the players’ lives.

I have been at Keller Williams in Sioux Falls for 9 years and am currently the Marketing Director. I love being at a company that helps me better understand myself and that flows into my ability to raise my daughters and into coaching. My free time is filled with whatever my kids come up with to do.
